I have a backyard pool with a pool heater installed, can HeaterReader be retro-fitted to my existing system?
Yes! HeaterReader™ has been designed so it can be retrofit to any heater or pump for ultimate pool control. HeaterReader will work with an older non electronic heater, converting a millivolt heater to a digital version, you will no longer need to set the dial, you can modernize your heater and pool with our unit and app.
What kind of pool heating systems does it work with?
It works with Millivolt or electronic ignition systems and all brands - Hayward, Pentair, Jandy, Raypak/Rheem, Coates, Eco-Smart, SmartPool, Lochinvar, AquaCal, Laars, AquaComfort, Carvin, and any other brand that you can think of!
How long does it take to install?
It takes just 30 minutes to install and can be installed inside or out*. You won't have to tear up landscaping.
Do I need new electrical? Is it hard to program?
You won't have to replace existing electrical. And, you won't have to get a professional to program it for you.
Can more than one person control the heater with the App?
HeaterReader™ can be accessed by multiple people as long as they have the app login, so anyone you need to have control will do. You will also receive a notification if it is manually changed on the HeaterReader™.
